1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TCG Buddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
TCG Buddy is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Track trading card game (TCG) inventory
- Record purchases and sales
- Store photos of cards
- Manage transaction history offline and online
3. User Accounts
- You must create an account to use the App
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
4. User Content
- You retain ownership of any content (photos, transaction data) you upload
- You grant us a license to store and process your content to provide the service
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload content
- We may delete content that violates these Terms or applicable laws
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
- Share your account with others
- Scrape or collect data from other users
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.
7. Offline Mode
- The App supports offline functionality
- Data created offline will sync when you reconnect
- We are not responsible for data loss during offline use
- You are responsible for backing up your data
8. Fees and Payments
TCG Buddy offers a free tier and a Pro subscription:
- Free: Up to 500 transactions per year
- Pro ($4.99/month): Unlimited transactions, advanced features
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- Required by law
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted service
- Error-free operation
- Accuracy of data
- Compatibility with all devices
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Lost data or content
- Lost profits or business opportunities
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability will not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (whichever is greater).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via:
- In-app notification
- Email (if provided)
Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, United States. Disputes will be resolved through courts in Washington State.
